Testimonials
from our customers and friends.
Jim
(Mercy Films) , thank you so much for the wonderful job that you
did on the gold framed Vilnius Mercy Image you produced for our
church, St. James the Less in Savannah, Georgia. At a little less
than 5 ft. wide and around 9 ft. tall, it is one of the largest
Images I have ever seen. It arrived safely thanks to the excellent
packing job you did. We were very impressed with the size and
strength of the wooden crate you put together for its transport.
It
is such a vibrant Image that it truly grabs a person.
I am truly amazed at how beautiful it turned out. I was also surprised
at how large an image it takes to look appropriate in our large
churches. If it were to be hanging at eye level it could be smaller,
but not much smaller than around 3ft by 6ft, if it is going to
look proportionate in a large church.
Again
a very big thank you for our excellent 9ft Vilnius Mercy Image
and we are praying that your commitment to making these Mercy
Images continues to be successful and draws responses from throughout
the Americas.

Dear
Mercy Films / Jim,
I
picked up the Divine Mercy image yesterday morning (Holy Thursday)
from the UPS depot. The depot is located on the outskirts of the
city and close to Our Lady of Fatima (Portuguese/English) parish
where the Image will be venerated.
Since
I wasn't far from the church I decided to drive there right away
in hope of maybe finding Fr. Manuel at home in the rectory. He
was just pulling out of the driveway when I pulled up so fortunately
we didn't miss each other. He opened the door to the rectory and
as I took the box out of the trunk, he remarked rather apprehensively,
"It is large." That had me a bit concerned because I
wanted very much for him to be happy with the Image for his parishioners.
I took the box into the living room of the rectory and carefully
cut the tape around the seams and opened the box. I tossed aside
all the protective plastic bubble wrap and removed the tape that
held the wrapping - the back of the Image was only visible to
us and we were both anxious to see it.
When
I turned it to face us we were both rather awe struck and Father
remarked, "It is so beautiful!" Indeed it is stunningly
beautiful and I had to hold back the tears thinking how wonderful
and loving Our Lord is and how that moment of His appearance must
have been so truly blessed for Saint Faustina to see Him in such
brilliant majesty and glory. And it was so consoling to know that
Our Lord is ever with his faithful and is as always calling all
people to Him but perhaps in a special way in these troublesome
and spiritually promiscuous times.
There
was a long pause as Father Manuel and I venerated the Image for
a while in silence and then he wondered out loud where it should
hang, "Now I have to think about a suitable place in the
Church...."I drove back to the office heading into the direction
of the dazzling morning sunlight that was partially blinding the
rest of the drivers heading into town. Thank God for that glorious
light, no one was able to notice my tears of joy. Praised be Jesus!
Thank
you Jim, and may God bless you.

Ave Maria!
PS
Father Manuel wrote me a few days before Divine Mercy Sunday:
"The beautiful image was put in the church in a prominent
place from where it will remind us of the great love He shows
to us." The Image of our Lord is now indeed in a prominent
location, just to the left of the altar from where it captures
your glance immediately upon entering the church. What I noticed
most before Mass was how many of the faithful were praying to
Jesus in that Image before the Mass started.

Dear
Mercy Films,
I
just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to your organization
for providing us with such a stunning Divine Mercy picture. Our
36" x 20" framed canvas arrived last Thursday, January
27. The DHL delivery person rang our door bell at 3 p.m. How fitting
an arrival time!!
My husband
and I just love the image and its presentation--- it truly glows
no matter what the time of day or lighting conditions. We will
keep the brochures you sent us nearby to share with any and all
who admire the picture - and we will recommend that they check
your website to see the wonderful options you offer.
Divine Mercy
has been an important part of our faith and prayer life-- but
we both feel a new, deeper attraction and commitment to the prayers
and devotions having taken the step to bring this image into our
home. Thank you to all of your staff who are involved in Divine
Mercy apostolates-- it is a great service and is doing great good
in our world! We also appreciate the other booklets and apostolate
information you included with our delivery. They, too, are well
done and are very inviting to read and to share
I
hope this year to convince one of our priests to actually prepare
the people of the parish for Mercy Sunday. Let's say a prayer
that my Pastor agrees to hang the Image in the Main Church. If
not, I will bring it back and forth for special feast days. I'm
starting to think maybe I should offer to have a little teaching
in the parish, and I could tell the people about St. Faustina
and Jesus of Mercy.
We
had a great miracle in our family from St. Faustina and Jesus
of Mercy. My husband had a serious heart attack ,at 45 years if
age, in May 2000. The doctors were very serious in their predictions,
and they feared large to moderate heart damage, due to the test
results. I hung up a prayer card of Divine Mercy over my Husband
in the ICU, and another one of St.,( then Blessed), Faustina.
We prayed the novena and the Chaplet over and over.I also prayed
to my protector, St. Joseph. Several days into the situation,
my husband was transferred to Westchester Medical Center. I drove
back home one night, after all day at the hospital...a 2 hour
drive one way. I sat on the couch in the dark, and I closed my
eyes. I saw someone walking toward me in light. It was a nun,
and I recognized the habit. I realized, as she got closer, that
it was St. Faustina, in living color! Suddenly, behind her, appeared
our Lord, and looked like the Divine Mercy Image. Rays of light
streamed from His heart, and my husband appeared below them, in
his hospital bed, just as I had left him. I began to pray for
his healing...for a miracle. St. Faustina looked at me, for what
it seemed to be a long pause, and then she reached up behind her,
and took from out Lord's heart, a large crystal heart, swirling
within with white, pink, and red light, like smoke almost. She
paused again, looking at me, and then bent low to bring the heart
down toward my husband in the hospital bed. Instantly, all was
dark again. I had great hope, as I traveled to see my husband
the next day. After Casey's angioplasty, the doctors were pleased
and amazed that he looked so good, and that the damage was so
small, at the bottom. They were so surprised, and completely changed
their prognosis to a favorable one.
It
is five years later, and Casey is now 50,and doing well, thanks
be to God, Jesus' Divine Mercy, and St. Faustina! A Priest also
blessed Casey with a relic of Padre Pio, and we send our thanks
to the dear Padre also. We have two sons, 12 and 14. The younger
, Ryan was born with Spina Bifida, and many of the accompanying
conditions...neurogenic bladder and bowel, shunted for hydrocephalas,
Arnold Chiari brain malformation, and a sub-clinical seizure disorder,
and he has had 5 surgeries. My older boy, Evan has had two surgeries
for hydro-neufrosis of the kidney...also from an undetected birth
defect. Both boys have good and happy dispositions, and are very
prayerful. Evan will graduate from St. Joseph's 8th grade in June.
We hope to send him on to Catholic High School. Ryan continues
to improve with Our Lady's Intercession. You can see why we have
such a devotion to Jesus of Mercy!
God
bless you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
