IMPORTANT!
Caring for your Image of “The Divine
Mercy”
1.
This beautiful Image is waterproof so feel free to bless it with
holy
water on Divine Mercy Sunday. These inks will not run. However,
do not wipe the water from the Image, merely allow it to dry naturally,
in a vertical, upright position. also, apply the holy water on
Our Lord’s Image only, and not on the black background. This
will ensure no water spots will form, as they show easily over
the black.
2. Because the Image is mostly black, scuffs will show. Please
be very careful when handling. Handle as a piece of fine art and
never tuch the Image.
3. Never allow direct sunlight to strike the Image for an extended
period of time, or premature fading will occur. If putting under
feature lights, turn off the lights when no one is in the room.
Our inks are rated for 100 years indoorsn under proper care.
4. Canvas may sag over time or in certain humidity conditions
and retighten in others. This is normal. In extreem cases, you
may need to restretch the Image. Bring to a local frame shop.
This should only be necessary once if at all.
5. When dusting, use air under pressure so as not to scuff or
scratch the Image.
With
this proper care, your Divine Mercy Image will last many many
years!
